Candied Walnuts

Crunchy, caramelised, and lightly salty, these Candied Walnuts are a wholesome treat with a superfood twist. Coated in maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt, they’re perfectly balanced between sweet and savoury, while a touch of E3AFA® powder adds an extra boost of nutrition. Ideal for snacking, gifting, or sprinkling over salads and desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup walnuts shelled
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Filtered (or spring) water
  • E3AFA® powder

Instructions

  1. Soak walnuts for 3 hours. Drain.
  2. Pour maple syrup over walnuts and mix.
  3. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Place in dehydrator at 45 deg C for 24-36 hours.
  5. Sprinkle with E3AFA® powder for an added nutritional boost!
